So many reviews of fun, geeky things, so little time! The SSN Crew sizes up the latest in superhero TV from the 100th episode of "The Flash," "Black Lightning", "Titans," and the "Elseworlds" Arrowverse crossover. Then, special guest Dr. Apryl joins us to review Miles Morales' film debut in Sony's animated "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse", and we give a non-spoiler review for the new DC Universe film "Aquaman," starring Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, and James Wan's wild imagination. Somewhere in there, we even manage to discuss our favorite Janet Jackson songs as she joins the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and address Jacquees' claim to the throne of King of R&B.

William Hanna and Joseph Barbera are known for creating some of the most beloved funny cartoons ever, such as "The Flintstones" and "Yogi Bear." However, the animation dream team is also responsible for producing some of the most iconic animated action heroes as well, such as "Jonny Quest," Space Ghost," "SWAT Kats" and many more. Even as "The Breakfast Club" becomes old enough to have kids of its own in high school, John Hughes' seminal film about Saturday detention still has a strong influence over comedy-drama films about teens and young adults. But why did it take so long for us to get Black entertainment like "grown-ish" and "Insecure" in the same vein?
