The SSN Crew discusses "Black Panther's" seven nominations, as well as the other contenders for 91st Academy Awards, and a full review of a little movie called "Green Book" that is sweeping both the awards ceremonies and the subject lines of think pieces.

With the release of the original "Mary Poppins" film in 1964, P.L. Travers' practically perfect (and masterfully shady) magical nanny became a Disney legend and Julie Andrews became a film icon. Fifty-four years later, Disney (finally) returns to London's 17 Cherry Tree Lane with "Mary Poppins Returns," a "requel" in the spirit of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." In this episode, the SSN Crew reviews and compares both films and their handlings of their characters, music, and animation/VFX - as well as whether or P.L. For 25 years now, R. Kelly has hidden in plain sight from allegations of child sex abuse and sex trafficking - without actually even hiding. Lifetime's latest documentary miniseries, "Surviving R. Kelly," delved into Kelly's illegal marriage to a teenaged Aaliyah, his trial over recording his child sex abuse, and his current scandal involving kidnapping and controlling women.
